A maths tutor in Lisbon, in person or online
IB, A-Level, AP and SAT for international-school students, or the Portuguese curriculum up to the Exame Nacional — in person around Lisbon or online, with the same tutor, in English or Portuguese.
A tutor in Lisbon should not mean crossing the city twice a week. Lessons can be in person, online, or a mix of both — the plan, the materials and the tutor stay the same. Around exam season, many students keep their regular lessons online and do revision sessions in person.
What this covers
In person around Lisbon
Lessons in Lisbon and the surrounding municipalities — Oeiras, Cascais, Sintra, Amadora, Odivelas, Loures and Almada. We agree the place and time in the assessment.
Online when it suits you better
Shared whiteboard, a digital drawing board for technical drawing, and recorded constructions. Switching from in person to online mid-week changes nothing in the plan.
Free practice between lessons
Every account includes the adaptive practice platform, aligned with both the Portuguese and the international curricula — so lesson time goes on the hard parts.

Common questions
Do you teach in person in Lisbon? Which areas?
Yes. In-person lessons are in Lisbon and the Greater Lisbon municipalities — Oeiras, Cascais, Sintra, Amadora, Odivelas, Loures and Almada. Outside those areas lessons are online, with the same tutor and the same plan.
Do you prepare for the Portuguese Exame Nacional?
Yes — Matemática A, MACS and Geometria Descritiva A, with past papers worked under exam conditions and a plan built from the programme. The free assessment starts by finding where the marks are being lost.
Do you tutor students at Lisbon’s international schools?
Yes. IB (Analysis & Approaches and Applications & Interpretation, SL and HL), A-Level Maths and Further Maths, AP Calculus, AP Statistics and SAT — in English or Portuguese, in person or online.
Can I mix in-person and online lessons?
Yes. Many students do most lessons online and book in-person sessions before tests and exams. Everything sits in the same account, with the same materials.
