Plane figures and solids, angles, area and volume, transformations, similarity and Pythagoras’ theorem.
Between 5.º and 9.º ano, maths in Portugal builds the foundations everything after depends on: fractions and proportion, the move into algebra, reading data, and geometry with real measurement. A gap here rarely stays small. These lessons find it early and close it, following the same four themes the school does.
