Probability and Statistics, frequentist and Bayesian
Probability theory, frequentist inference and Bayesian statistics — one-to-one and online, for maths, science, engineering and economics degrees.
What this covers in detail
Frequentist
Random variables and distributions, limit theorems, estimators and their properties, confidence intervals, hypothesis tests and regression.
Bayesian
Bayes’ theorem, priors and posteriors, conjugate families, credible intervals, model comparison and an introduction to MCMC.
Statistics courses teach two ways of reasoning about uncertainty and rarely say how they relate. These lessons teach both — the frequentist tools most exams are built on and the Bayesian methods most modern courses add — and make clear when each one answers the question being asked.
What this covers
Both schools, side by side
The same problem solved both ways — so the difference between a confidence interval and a credible interval is clear, not memorised.
Probability first
Statistics rests on probability. Gaps there — conditioning, expectation, distributions — are fixed first, because everything else depends on them.
R or Python when you need it
For courses with a computing component, the analysis is done in the language your course uses.

Common questions
Which courses is this for?
Introductory and intermediate Probability and Statistics in any degree, including the statistics modules of psychology, biology, economics and engineering courses.
My course is only frequentist. Is the Bayesian part extra?
Only if you want it. Lessons follow your syllabus; the Bayesian side is there for courses that include it, or for students who want to see the other view.
