Português in ensino básico is worked across five domains — oral skills, reading, literary education, grammar and writing — and the 9.º ano ends with a compulsory prova final (91). In 2026 it was taken in digital format, 90 minutes plus 30 minutes of tolerance. These lessons follow the year the student is in and build towards it.
What this covers
The year the student is in
Each year has its own works and grammar content. Lessons follow the student’s year, not a generic programme.
Grammar that sticks
Syntactic functions and clause types are where marks slip most. They are practised on real texts until they are automatic.
Prova final in view
In 9.º ano, past provas finais are worked with the official marking criteria, including the writing task.
