High school math, from Algebra I to Precalculus
The four-course sequence most US high schools follow — taught one-to-one and online, course by course, with the SAT, ACT and AP in view.
What this covers in detail
Algebra I
Linear equations and inequalities, systems, functions, exponents, polynomials, factoring and quadratic equations.
Geometry
Congruence and similarity, proof, right-triangle trigonometry, circles, coordinate geometry, area and volume.
Algebra II
Polynomial, rational, radical, exponential and logarithmic functions, complex numbers, sequences and series.
Precalculus
Function analysis, trigonometric functions and identities, polar coordinates, vectors and an introduction to limits.
High school math is a chain: each course assumes the last one stuck. A shaky Algebra I shows up in Algebra II, and a shaky Algebra II shows up in Precalculus and on the SAT. These lessons work on the current course and repair whatever is missing beneath it.
What this covers
The course you are in
Lessons follow your textbook, homework and tests — regular, honors or integrated math.
Fix what is underneath
Most trouble in a course comes from the one before. The assessment finds the missing piece.
Building towards the tests
The same skills carry the SAT and ACT math sections and prepare for AP Precalculus and AP Calculus.

Common questions
My school uses Integrated Math 1–3. Is that covered?
Yes. Integrated courses teach the same content in a different order; lessons follow your school’s sequence.
Do you tutor honors courses?
Yes — honors and accelerated courses, including students heading for AP Calculus early.
